Laser Beam Expanders

A beam expander is used to increase the diameter of an incoming laser beam.

Beam expanders are characterized by:

  • Laser wavelength to be used
  • Power in the laser beam
  • Diameter of the incoming laser beam
  • Magnification of the beam diameter required
  • Diameter of the outgoing beam

Wavelength Technology offers beam expanders for lasers from the UV to the long-wave infrared with small or large beam diameters at various power levels.  Both fixed-magnification and zoom expanders are available.  Samples are pictured here.  See the product listings for details.
